Our team

We are a group of veterans and active officiers committed to civil-military cooperation.

We pledge:

  • To raise public awareness of the challenges of strategic instability
  • Train leaders on the complexities of mobilization, culture, and command
  • Develop tools that bridge the gap between the civilian and military worlds

Our team members

These officers, non-commissioned officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian defense employees form a team of trainers and consultants serving public and private organizations. Founded by Captain (res.) Nicolas Brault, Aguerrir brings together seasoned leaders at the crossroads of the civilian and military worlds.

Chloé Debiève

Trainer and speaker on information risk

A former employee of the Ministry of the Interior, the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and the Joint Center for Concepts, Doctrines, and Experimentation (French Armed Forces General Staff), Chloé Debiève studies how consuming and processing information impacts performance, trust, and judgment.

A reserve officer and founder of “The Strategic Agenda,” she helps organizations regain control of information by sharing best practices from the security, defense, and strategic thinking sectors with their teams.

Vadym Adamov

International speaker - drone specialist

Ukrainian soldier and filmmaker Vadym Adamov fought for two years on the front lines, notably at Bakhmut, the most intense land battle on the European continent since World War II. Wounded twice, he was awarded the Defender of Ukraine Medal by Volodymyr Zelensky.

A member of VictoryDrones, the country’s leading military technology training organization, he is involved in establishing the world’s first official FPV drone school. Director of an Emmy-nominated film, he now lectures across Europe on warfare, technology, and how art and communication can win battles.

Thomas Fernandez

Physical trainer

After 18 years as a Paris firefighter and then as the brigade’s physical trainer, Thomas Fernandez is now a sports coach for senior executives. He works with companies, offering group exercise sessions and workshops on nutrition and performance recovery.

Nicolas Brault

Founder

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the Saint-Cyr Military Academy, Captain Nicolas Brault taught history in Seine-Saint-Denis before becoming an officer. After commanding Foreign Legionnaires on overseas and domestic operations, he served as head of the Mountain Commando Group (GCM), then director of a unit dedicated to supporting 1,100 Legionnaires. Having transitioned out of the military in 2025, he remains committed as an “ambassador of the French Army” through his military podcast, media commentary, and his book Giving Orders Is Not Enough, published by Michel Lafon.

His new mission: to strengthen leaders and their organizations through consulting and training on culture, command, and engagement.
